Aguilar and Sons Construction is a hardscape contractor based in Salinas, California. We build outdoor living spaces and pour concrete for homes, apartments and commercial properties. That work is paver patios and walkways, flagstone, stamped and plain concrete, retaining walls and masonry. We work across the Monterey Bay area, within about 45 minutes of Salinas.
We are a family construction company led by Joe Aguilar. The company has held its California general building license since 2000. The eagle in our logo comes from the family name, because Aguilar is the Spanish word for eagle. Our hardscape work was known for years as ASC Hardscapes, and every job now carries the licensed name.
Some jobs start as a bare dirt yard behind a new home. Others are a retaining wall on a slope, an outdoor kitchen or a fire pit. We also pour driveways, walkways, steps and slabs, and we build pergolas, fences, gates and decks. The general building license adds remodels and additions, foundations and structural concrete under one contract.
Estimates are free and we do them on site. We come out, look at the space, take measurements and talk through what you want built. Then you get a written estimate with the scope, the materials and the plan for the work. When a job needs a permit or an engineer's plans, we say so up front.
